I've had a TON of success with this deck against a wide range of deck compositions.

-The deck can weapon cycle with FN with Rockets, Batons, and Knucklers giving you a strong chance to win outright on damage.

-You can out-mill second chance ammo belt decks abusing Unkar's ability with upgrades like the Rocket Launcher. (I have thought about slipping in a Loose Ends)

-Ace in the Hole Crime Lord is incredibly easy to achieve in this deck given the abundance of resources you can acquire. (I have achieved this on turn one or two many times. People usually rage quit.)

Starting hand strats

-Look for either Ace in The Hole Crime Lord or Fast Hands Blackmail. Usually you will draw at least one of these cards and when you aren't looking for just one specific card it makes your starting draw much easier to accomplish

-Salvage Stand and Inspection are always nice early but make sure you know your match up. Sometimes Inspection won't matter against decks with high cost upgrades.

Ending on damage

-Try to get to the end game with Batons and Holdouts played. The redeploy makes winning on damage so much easier.

-Cycle before hard casting. Abuse FN.

Crime Lord Strats

-Bait the claim. If you are using Ace in the Hole Crime Lord you need to try and get them to claim. Don't pass if you can do something else. Even playing a card can be wise if you suspect they have any removal for your CL.

-Use Unkar to discard all their removal from their hand before you play Ace in the Hole CL. This helps keep cards in your hand for when you need to re-roll if CL misses.

-Friends in Low Places. This card is spot a yellow character but it's so good. You just check to see if they have the removal. If they don't, Let the CL roll.

Thanks guys! I'm open to ideas on how to make the deck better.

looks like a ton of fun! are their any budget options? This deck has a lot of legendaries! besides CL of course

Sumoduck3 1

Also I would like to ask. What does your win rate look like? against what sort of decks do you play against with this?

revel.games 78

@Sumoduck3 I've played against a lot of versions of his deck. @JChau and I play regularly. I usually have a tough time beating it. You either need to kill unkar or FN super fast. You absolutely cannot claim early, and you have to discard expensive cards before they can use Unkar's ability.

I really can't suggest substitutes for legendaries. They are crucial to making the deck work.

Only maybe is black mail, but it's so good with fast hands.

I run a similar deck but with Death Trooper instead of FN-2199 - Loyal Trooper. But that one is a mill deck.

Sumoduck3 1

do you run docking bay to give no advantage to the claimer? Does this deck usually not claim early?

JChau 110

@Sumoduck3 sadly not really many budget options I would say. The rockets and Batons are crucial to that 3 cost overwrite sweet spot, and Blackmail is too good at control. Especially when Unkar goes down. Blackmail helps with Imperial Inspection.

I have also played against wide range of decks on TTS. The deck has beat Poe/Maz, Kylo/Baby Vader, Qui-Gon/Rey, Hero Mill decks, Second Chance/Ammo Belt decks, and a to of others.

It thrives against 2 character decks. The deck struggles against things that can do AOE damage. Like Thermals and U Wings. I will start keeping track of what I win to and lose to.

JChau 110

@Sumoduck3and yes the Docking Bay is something that helps me and doesn't benefit my opponents too greatly. It's always nice to pull salvage stand and inspection from my discards.

The deck won't claim to a lot of decks but it's important to know when you should claim. If you have salvage stand out and maybe Blackmail with Fast Hands it's super helpful to be able to roll out before they can play cards/spend resources. I'll even leave the Stormtrooper ready sometimes.

Why the choice of battlefield?

I tried something similar but didn't hit abundance of resourses. Sure feels good to hit a 3-cost somehing, but 0 stuff is not that fun against 2 dice.

Cunning would be helpful, not sure what to sacrifice for it. Aced Crime Lord with a Cunning die sitting on special is nice. Building around it would require Infamous though, and your deck seems to be better with weapons instead.

Loose ends seem like a good idea, you have some dice you can give out

I'll try it anyway,

revel.games 78

@ntsekov He explains the use of his battlefield Docking Bay - Finalizer in the comment above yours.

Cunning sounds fun at first, but it resolves the special ability on another card in play. When you play Ace in the Hole with Crime Lord the card isn't in play, so cunning doesn't apply.

He usually gets enough reseources either from Unkar Plutt - Junk Dealer's dice or his ability.

Friends in Low Places usallyy helps with knowing that the opponent has a high cost card to gobble up.

@ChaChaTrevor, yeah, I reached the same conclusion as his own - you just don't want to help your opponents, and you'd rarely claim anyway.

Good point about Ace'd Crime Lord, the card never enters play.

Enfantterrible 171

@JChau deck looks interesting. Must say though, that if your opponents "usually rage quit" when you Crimelord them, you really gotta find other people to play with - sad.

JChau 110

@Enfantterrible I play a lot of TTS so most of the rage quits come from there haha.

proxy 8

How much does Block see play? Seems too polarized too include.

JChau 110

@proxy Block is for sure a meta call. You can slot that out for another card that suits your local meta. I've just noticed a lot of Qui-gon/ Rey and Vader/Kylo in my area.

Commanding Presencewould be nice as well. Focus sides, Damage amplification or resources (the special) and you could remove a Poe dice as well. Might work well.
