Oh hey look! A two-dice list! Yeah so I have no idea how well this deck will do but I'm excited to see how it goes as soon as EaW cards are released for TTS.

This is my attempt at a villain control deck that strives to be a jack-of-all trades with regards to dice options. Disrupt resources, discard cards, destroy options and dodge attacks. I find the synergy with Darth Vader - Sith Lord and Thrawn - Master Strategist abilities to be super interesting. Vader's discard ability allows you to get a read on opponents deck and strategy, allowing you to strategically predict what Thrawn's ability will hit. Cards like As I Have Foreseen will give Thrawn the precision to remove their threats and Pulling the Strings is a great end-of-turn card to play that gives you an immediate hit on Thrawn at the start of the next turn.

I recommend you mulligan aggressive for Lure of Power which will allow any of the many dice sides to hit like a truck, whether it be Vader's damage sides, Interrogation Droid discard sides, or perhaps you just need to beef up a resource or shield sides.

To end the games, use Thrawn's natural focus sides to execute massive damage bursts with Vader's die, Lure of Power or simply wreck a character with No Mercy.

That's all I'll say for now until I can start testing, but please feel free to chime in with recommendations for card additions/removal or any questions. Also, let me know if you feel this deck is competitive, casual or just plain trash. I feel at the moment it falls in the casual category... which is fine by me.

I have a list similar to this but I run Imperial Inspection in it. You roll in Thraw, get a disrupt die, make them put a 2 cost weapon back in their hand and then discard it.

Thanks for the comment @JohnnyOrigami. That is indeed a really cool card to play. I think the reason I didn't include it originally is because I wasn't too sure it would consistently trigger enough but having said that, both Vader and Thrawn have disrupt sides so I could certainly see it being of value in the deck. What would you replace for it? As I sidenote, I'll be making a small change to the deck to include the card Feint (a card I completely glossed over when deckbuilding) Still trying to figure out what to replace for it though.

I love the two characters together. I have a deck published with these guys too but it is very different from what you have. Check it out. My biggest concern with your deck is if Vader dies the game is over. What is your plan if he dies?

Welcome to the super elite Vader/Thrawn club @regahs_namelc, population - us two. I had a look at your deck, definately very different to mine ( which is cool!) You have obviously gone with a more aggro style (midrangey) with more focus on damage whereas I've tried a more control style with removal and mitigation. Still havent had a chance to test mine out yet (been away from home for the weekend) so still not sure how it goes. Have you had a chance to test yours yet? As for Vader dying, that could certainly happen but the idea is to outpace the opponent with mitigation and disruption. That said I'll probably swap out Kylo Ren's Lightsaber for a Z6 Riot Control Baton, which I could play on Thrawn if need be. With your deck, how do you go with resource generation? I noticed you have some pricey cards in that deck.
