With Rend running around, I wanted to move away from the Sith Holocron package, as without it pumping out upgrades, I've found Palpatine - Galactic Emperor stuggles to compete in games. So with the Sith Holocron package out, I'm treating the supports as the upgrades.

Just curious, if you are going to spend money on supports, which will slow you down considerably, why not spend them on the upgrades? You will hardly claim the battlefield, which your opponent will love, and if you're struggling getting upgrades on him, you will struggle getting supports out.

@Break Windu All of the Palpatine - Galactic Emperor decks I've seen run off of the Sith Holocron, and without it, you're paying 3-4 resources for an upgrade.

Yes you will spend money on supports, but most of those supports cost 2. When you start getting more supports out, Lead by Example and Partnership will allow you to do multiple activations, speeding up your turn.

At the end of the day though, I haven't played much with this deck (as noted) and I did play against a slow deck, so I got to claim almost always.

It flowed pretty smoothly and just thought it would be an interesting, different angle to approach Palpatine - Galactic Emperor in this current meta.
