Hey all,

This is my first published deck, with one of my favorite characters (underestimated) Director Krennic - Cruel but Brilliant. Say bye bye to his Death Trooper friend : he found love with an Elite Ciena Ree - Adept Pilot, ready to fulfill his "Imperial Ambitions" !

YOU LIKE BIG DAMAGES ? This deck is for you ! With this imperial technology, you don't have to make good rolls. The good rolls will be summoned as you wish ! This is cruel, for sure. But you are brilliant.

The purpose of this deck is to hit hard and fast ! I did 12 dmgs on a single second round to a Mace Windu - Jedi Champion, and it is not hard to achieve !

MULLIGAN FOR :Wingman (Super important card ! Gives you speed and bucket rolls) Imperial Inspection and a gun (not the Rocket Launcher) You don't need We Have Them Now or Heat Of Battle in our first hand. It is better to get stuff early. Drop Zone is a card you can change. It is really good when played first round, but gets really bad after. Maybe change them with one more Dug in for extra defense, mitigation or extra Swiftness for the combos. You can consider keeping a Lockdown in first hand : it gives you extra time play your first round if you want to stuff yourself or gaining ressources OR, if the opponent's BF is really interesting (like another farm or something that Is still cool), you can take it to get 2 extra shields. Moreover, if you can't choose your BF, but your opponent takes his BF, it gives you your extra trooper dice first round.

THE FIRST RULE IS

Always claim the BF, even when you let some dices on the board ! (particularly Krennic's ones). Don't spend to much time on rerolling, unless your opponent is very slow and you have to throw cards. You don't have to make good rolls since you have the cards to choose the faces of your dices ! Claiming gives you an extra die, 1 (when you choose your BF) and the initiative ! That's perfect ! NEVER FORGET YOUR EXTRA DEATH TROOPER DICE

Put all upgrades on Ciena if you have Wingman early. Put the Rocket Launcher on the character not being focused.

HOW TO USE YOUR DICES ?

When you roll, almost ALWAYS take your ressources. Don't try to reroll Krennic : use his dices when you have time. It is always cool to make the opponent discard two cards ! But don't be greedy, because you'll probably loose the battlefield ! You can go super slow when you have Lockdown in hand. So your priorities are : DMGS first, then ressources ! Reroll and use other faces when you have the time.

HOW TO MAKE A "DEATH STAR TEST SHOT" ON YOUR OPPONENT ?

You need 3 ressources (That's easy with your BF, or with the ressources you got from Ciena last round), Swiftness or Tactical Mastery PLUS We Have Them Now or (BETTER) Heat Of Battle. First action, roll your 2 characters (thanks to wingman). Your opponent will control one or two dices, or activate a character. no problem. You then do your combo : for example : Tactical Mastery and Heat Of Battle, plus resolving dices. If the opponent rolled a character, you can probably kill him so that he can't resolve his dices on damages faces. Basically, its 10dmgs (3 Krennic Dices + 2 Cienna Dices, all on 2 dmgs). But with no more than 2 upgrades, it goes to 14 dmgs ! Nice Death Star shot, nope ? With Lockdown in hand, you can wait and reroll dices until the opponent claims, so that you are free to play Battle Formation, or reroll more, and control the BF back before the beginning of the other round. If one of your character has a good stuff and an opponent is about to die, you can use your Tactical Mastery as a Hit and Run in order to kill him fast, resolving your dices without mitigation. The best combo is, with wingman and stuff on characters : tactical mastery + Swiftness + Heat of the battle + resolve, in a single round ! But you don't need that ;)

Funny how two persons can think almost exacly alike :) Did not think anyone had made my deck so i had to check and behold someone had :D

I only have one Rocket launcher so i have a Phasmas Blaster instead, and i have Imperial Dis. To be able to turn Krennics die if i dont get my Now we have them, built my deck after Nerfageddon of the past meta so i obviously dont run Heat of battle. But only run one We have them now since many hero run red and they use the dreaded Defensive position. I dont use swiftness but might try that.

I Dont run any supports since it slow you down. But the rounds you have Lockdown that does not matter but we all know that they sometime is in the bottom of our deck ;)

Oh and i did run Bhmar Monastary (had to try it) But i changed to Cargo Bay to be able to move my stuff when someone is close to death.

@Rhawin Hey ! It's nice to have someone who's interested in this deck ! Actually I didn't made changes since the nerf : there are a lot of things to change ! Heat of the battle is no more interesting I think, even if it can gives you an extra +4 dmgs which can kill an opponent's character with tactical mastery before he resolves his turned dices. Since the deck might hit not that strongly at the first rounds, I think I have to replace Heat Of Battle with more mitigation (I think of Sound The Alarm : you can control opponent's dices without removing them so that they still have something to do on their turn and then you can claim). The nerf touches Imperial Inspection as well: I don't know if it is worth playing it anyway. Maybe change them with two Rend ? Or Doubt maybe that is still a good card on a lot of dices ! I'm not sure about Imperial Discipline : it slows a lot the deck and i think we have enough upgrades. Maybe I can give it a try ! Since 4 upgrades have redeploy I don't find the Cargo Bay useful. But it really can help you destroy opponent's upgrades focusing someone who has all the upgrades. I think I still prefer the extra money that you really need. But Ciena can give a lot of money too... I don't know ! :P

Put up a new one with changes when you are done and say how it fares. I myself am pondering if i should put in Imperial Inspection. Before it was a no brainer when that card was absurdly good. Its still not bad just not overpowered.

Rend is also a card i consider in any deck, just have problem with what to throw out. Even if Imp Insp isnt played that much Chancecube, Fast hands, Forcespeed and Sith Holocron still is and it works on al those. Might include it. Will put up my own version soon when i get time to. Never done yet.

Hi, I´m also tinkering with this deck and think it´s top fun. Especially since Krennic is so rarely played. Mine is similar, yet more defensive with Covering Fire instead of BF as I prefer the various dice turning mechanisms over rerolling my dice. For BG I use Medical Center - Kaliida Shoals as it´s a damned-if-you-do-damned-if-you don't.

The best part of playing it is the overwhelming amount of dice you get. Like rainbow 5s. But this deck is alot faster. It feels like that frees up Krennics dice to act as control feature which I really like. E.g. 2 into a Sound The Alarm is a timewalk on the opponent when all their damage disappears and they´re out of cards. Or Inspection to tempo them down. A very fun deck :)

Scactha have you put up your deck? Played yesterday with mine and defeated a Good player playing eKanan eQui-gon, i was ipressed with how good it was against that deck. I have put in the card that removes all shields from the opponent for one really good against Qui-gon and Rieekan decks. I want Best Defense in because of Palp and other situations when you really need to remove 2 dice. I dont really feel Covering fire does the job. I also run Supression, with so many dice showing ranged i think its worth it as long as you can roll out one of your characters first. Concerning Kalida Shoals, you know you can claim without doing the claim effect? I made that misstake for a while and then that BF was a nightmare against Mill-decks.

@Rhawin No, I haven´t put it up, but also use TBD, Suppression and Imperial Discipline instead of a 4th weapon since we have so many dice already it feels more important to get damage sides showing.

I know you don´t need to Claim, but it makes the BG almost useless to the opponent as the DT die evens the gain out yet we can heal and grab it back with Lockdown.

In testing I've also won against both Sabine / Ezra and Qui-Gon / Kanan which surprised me. My first take was that it´d be a fun deck only, but there´s a little more to it. The strength I believe is it manages to attack from so many angles even while producing impressive damage. When more BG reliant cards show I think it´ll just be better.

Worth testing that battlefield :) , Im also running Imperial Discipline its really good for Krennics dice.
