Siege 77

Salutations my little yub-nubs,

As I sit here to doing a write up for a deck I have been enjoying, watching Bob Ross paint a lovely sunrise, I'm struck with the realization of how great destiny really is. It's as relaxing as Bob Ross's happy little trees. So remember, don't get worked up if you're getting stomped, just let the cool blues of the Nightsisters, and the warm earth tones of Akbar cheer you up.

On to the deck:

Commanding Presence has been a question that has been killing me for weeks now. It's hard to get on anything and keep it alive. My first reaction is obviously the potential damage output is the obvious want for Commanding Presence. I however came to the realization, a moderate splash blue control deck with Commanding Presence, could be used to net quite a few resources.

I finally traded for my second Phasma this week, and put all the things I love into one deck. Nightsister and her splash of blue, I feel give the trooper tanking the extra oomph it needs to keep Phasma ticking. with a relatively quick Commanding Presence overwrite over Promotion you quickly gain flexibility to fuel Nightsister opponent rerolls with shields, or resource generation, with lots of focus allowing you to build your rolls to your favor.

In it's play testing so far, I've been able to reliably deploy AT-STs regularly and allow red to really strike the "Oh poop, stompy things" reaction we've all been looking for from it.

This deck is supposed to be a toolbox for hopeful tournament play, thus things like Closing the Net are in place for their general usefulness, but also to serve to buy some time if you end up in a moderate control war with milling being a threat, (and potential victory for you as well with presenced Phasma discard). Or becoming heavy control if facing enemy red.

I hope to keep developing this deck and am always looking for feedback. Thanks for reading.
