Hi all!

After playing Hero-Aggro decks for a while I fell in love with Prized Possession: I really love that card and I find it a B O M B in the current meta if you are able to get resources on turn 1-2 to play it.

A Deck like Vader/Raider-Luke/Ackbar-Rey/Han suffers too much if you're able to deny one of his best character's dice early in the game.

Why I choose this pool of characters? Best hit points in the game (29 + 14 thanks to Endless Ranks), 3 Trooper offers 1 resource-face plus some damage early and late on; Bala-Tik open yellow god-cards (Backup Muscle, He Doesn't Like You, Prized Possession) and offer 1 focus-side more than the usually Tusken Raider you can see in more aggressive version of this deck.

Why I choose this Battlefield? This deck doesn't claim too much, I choose a bad battlefield for everyone so I can take the second move and 2 shields (more survivability) first turn.

How it develops the gameplan?

  • First few turns (1-3) - Get resources, play more support you can and deal few damage to the opponent; if you can get out Prized Possession and 1-2 supports you're ahead.
  • MidGame (turns 4-6) - Continue to harass your opponent and get out Speeder Bike Scout and First Order TIE Fighter (your main damage dealer); while doing this you have 9-10 cards to control opponents dice and disrupt their plan.
  • LateGame (turn 5 to end) - at this point you will probably have 1-2 character dead, Endless Ranks what you can, let them claim and than re-roll your dice for damage.

Some tips and ticks:

  1. They will always focus down Bala-Tik, so use Prized Possession on a Trooper and Hunker Down on the character focussed.
  2. Roll always Speeder Bike Scout first so you can control opponent with the Special.
  3. Don't roll all the charatcet togheter, if you get some damage do it to not open Dodge-windows for the opponent.
  4. Drudge Work seems a bit clunky but it's not! Sometimes don't roll a Trooper to get a resource is a must for the high-cost curve of this deck.
  5. Nowhere to Run out-of-nowhere can win you the game: after an opponent claim 'cause of your bad roll you can deal from 8 to 12 damage with this.
  6. Wait to active 1 Trooper until the end: Flank and Drudge Work have to be always open.

What I expect by next expansions:

I really really hope that in SoR will be some good villain support to go in the no-guns direction; maybe something at 2-cost that can be fit perfectly in the curve. Anyway I just saw some good cards for the deck like Junkyard that can open the "stax" gameplay I wanna for this deck.

Conclusions:

Not a tier1, not a tier2, but a Work-in-Progress.deck I wanna continue to test 'cause for me has lot of potential.

This is not a standard Destiny.deck, you can't just do the roll-damage things other decks do; focus your action in the game and act accordingly to what the opponent do.

Feel free to write a comment and explain me what you think about this Junk :D
