This deck is an experiment in how much work I can get out of Luke's dice with minimal investment in upgrades. I'm not sure this is a good strategy, but it's something I want to try. In the early game, I'm looking to use Maz and her Goggles to consistently resolve Luke's 3 Melee side before it can be controlled. Events are mostly control and healing of various flavors to keep Luke in fighting shape, with My Ally Is the Force tossed in for use with Luke's die as he seems like the best character to use with it. I aimed for cheap events to take advantage of Luke's built-in draw, allowing us to play lots of cards each turn. Lots of redundancy means we're less sad if we burn cards to stay alive with Illusion. Battleground is a safe pick in Maz's Castle, allowing us to look for the key cards (Vibro, My Ally) without giving the opponent huge advantage if they claim instead. Likely, opponents will be choosing their battlefields anyway.

Other cards I'm considering:

Trust Your Instincts: free reroll card with a cantrip. Since we're looking for My Ally, seems like a good way to cycle the hand.

Rey's Staff: more consistent damage than Luke's Saber and cheaper, though with less upside.

Handcrafted Light Bow: Similar to Luke's Saber, but no pay side, no modified side, and a bigger special. May run 2 if I decide I need more gas in the upgrade department.

Lone Operative: Seems pretty good on Luke once he's alone, though he's probably target #1 as the deck deals no damage without him.

All In: usually a good call in any deck with lots of focus, like this one.

Let me know what y'all think! This deck is in the early theorycraft stages, but I'm really drawn to the concept of minimally upgraded decks at the moment.
