EVader dumps his Tusken minion in order to fully embrace the Blue side, A loyal Guardian keeps the hurt off Vader while he does his thing.
Going almost all in on Vader, the Guard keeps him going and he upgrades are there mostly for Vader. If the game is a semi controlling one, start giving the Guard a boost or 2.
Enrage in first hand with a weapon helps a TON. Close Quarters Assault is generally good for 2 or 3 cards, combined with Vader's Ability can wreck a hand.
