Updated to compensate for the Fast Hands nerf. Removed Force Speed and Fast Hands x2 and added Lightsaber Throw x2 and a Deflect. Deflect, while very situational and useless against certain decks is still very good control against a Palpatine or even Poe/Maz, 4 character decks will be making a return with the Fast Hands nerf as well and most of those use Ranged Damage meanind Deflect will get more play, if you're up against a melee deck, it is essentially a free reroll. Lightsaber Throw definitely slows down your turn but can help with much needed damage. The logic here is, if I have a dice out that is showing damage and my opponent hasn't mitigated it when it gets back to my turn they probably wont be able to next damage, so why not pay a resource and add damage on top of the damage I have showing? 90% of the time I mulligan heavily for Holocron and Mind Probe/Force Lightning but certain decks I will draw heavy for control initially or if I am going up against a Dooku or a Qui-Gon or some other shield-heavy deck I will draw for Vibroknife. Two Vibroknives on Vader is nothing to scoff at. If I get to take the shields who I put them on is very dependent on my opening hand. If I have Mind Probe and Holocron in hand I want to get that on the Raider as fast as I can, if I don't it is probably a safe bet to shield up Vader or split them. I like to let someone who is action cheating finish before I even activate Vader, play some mitigation, get rid of what you can, let them claim then you pretty much get free reign and I love that. Does it bite me in the ass sometimes? Absolutely but more often then not free reign Vader will be able to stomp someone's face in pretty good. Doubt is most effective against Vibroknife (Especially if you have shields or Force Illusion in play), Makashi Training, Lure of Power and dice that have actions if you remove them (C-3PO for example). If you face a four character deck odds are they will have Endless Ranks, use Vader's disrupts and do not let them get to 5 resources. Sometimes you dont want to use Vader's trigger (if you have Mind Probe on him) but keep in mind it is an ability that triggers AFTER you roll, so if you have Mind Probe on him wait until you see your dice results and then say whether or not they discard. If you hit that Mind Probe special, don't make them discard, if you don't, make them. Do not reroll against mill decks, this deck falls hard to them, resolve what you get, use resources to build up upgrades to hit harder and faster and use disrupts to keep them from getting out the necessary upgrades. You can potentially one-shot Maz with this deck so there is a scale I use when facing Poe/Maz with it that I have had luck with it. Turn 1 if I roll into 4-6 damage, I put it on Poe and try to focus him down. But anything more than that and I am hitting Maz which makes Poe have to play fair. Anytime you face a Rey deck, take her down first, those decks are built to action cheat so take that away and you significantly hurt them.
