Darth Vader - Sith Lord, as seen bludgeoning Luke Skywalker - Jedi Knight to his knees in Empire Strikes Back or cutting through a squad of Rebel Trooper in Rogue One, can be a downright vicious swordsman and the goal of this deck is to get him to that point.
With that goal in mind, we have the slow but potent economy of Sith Holocron to get big abilities like Mind Probe or Force Throw out for free and then to either keep these or play over them with ideally Kylo Ren's Lightsaber or Grand Inquisitor's Lightsaber (seriously, where is the Darth Vader's Lightsaber card?!) and really bring the damage.
This frees up our resources for burn cards like Force Strike, Lightsaber Throw, and No Mercy or control cards like Isolation or Clash.
Of course, Holocron is quite slow so we have Royal Guard and Lightsaber Pike to try to keep the damage off of our big bad and for the Royal Guard's inevitable demise we have The Price of Failure for a powerful Vader restand.
