I plan on running a similar deck for the next few weeks. Looks like fun. Mobilize seems more built for General Hux - Aspiring Commander. So, your opponent is clearly going to claim at least early game. I would try hard mulligan for Imperial Backing and getting supports out (especially Hound's Toothand a big threat). Early game, maybe activating at least two characters, try for money, mitgate damage. There's no real point to Deploy Squadron since you aren't racing to claim. I would put one more removal in place of Deploy Squadron, and maybe ditch the AT-DP. imagine if you were up against the same deck, the only target of the special would be hound's tooth. Disarm and/or Sabotage is probably more useful for this deck. |

@jeremyeagles I really like Mobilize for basically a free resource, Deploy Squadron can turn a game later in it, when you have 3+ vehicles out and AT-DP is just a solid vehicle. You're right that his special isnt worth much. Still think it is better than the TIE-Fighter, but with shields coming back now, maybe it is the better choice. |
He Doesn't Like You and Imperial HQ might be useful add ons. Heat Of Battle's nerf makes it over priced and sub-optimal. Mobilize has me wondering about it's value. While it's basically a free resource which is never a bad thing, would you be better with a more aggressive card like Tactical Mastery which would allow you to play Deploy Squadron then resolve before your opponent gets a chance to respond. Tough call.
I love this deck and I use the same type of build with a few alterations because of card ownership reasons or play style. I think EaW has made support a very viable play option. Nice build!!
