What do mill decks rely on more than anything? Getting rid of all your cards before you can kill them off.
So, what's the best way to beat them? Killing them quicker? No. Sifting through your deck for upgrades? No. Cheating? Well... Possibly, but we'll ignore that for now.
The best way to beat them, is to simply ensure they never meet their win condition. This deck does that in 3 ways.
Mitigation! Everyone loves mitigation (except when it's used on you), so use what you have freely. If your opponent has Leia Organa - Heart of the Resistance, and rolls that 2 side, Get rid of it!
Mitigation in this deck includes: Force Push, Force Throw, Poe's really, really annoying special, Free Fall, Peace and Quiet, Rebel Assault and Recon.
Ancient Lightsaber. I swear this card was designed to troll mill decks. So. Your opponent's Yoda/Padme deck has just destroyed what remained of your deck, and you have no cards in your hand. You have a 2 showing, and not much else. What you do, is resolve that damage AGAINST YOURSELF, just so you can use the Ancient Lightsaber action. It goes on the bottom of your deck, and your opponent doesn't win that round. Just rinse and repeat every round, until you either whittle your opponent down to nothing, or your opponent mills themselves out.
Fond Memories. The jewel of this deck. So, your opponent has discarded some cards you really, really need. Play this absolute gem, and get them back (albeit at the bottom of your deck). Not only do you get a second chance to play them, it means your opponent has to discard 6 more cards in order to win.
Other fun cards:
Heat of Battle: Most mitigation decks aren't designed to do damage, so coupled with Swiftness this is just a perfect chance to deal 4 damage. Potentially more!
Noble Sacrifice: If you really need to, and you have a couple Funeral Pyre's out, kill off Luke in order to exhaust an opponent's character. Preferably the one which mills the most!
Luke's Training and Starship Graveyard: Just more ways to get cards out of your discard pile.
Hit and Run and Swiftness: Ambush!
74-Z Speeder Bike: Poe Specials!

If it said "Heal up to 2 damage from attached character...", you could then use the ability whenever. |
side note you don’t need to sell us on ancient lightsaber being good. It’s one of the most expensive cards available for a reason lol |
This deck is beta bro |
So beta, bro bro. Do you even Star Wars? |
You don't actually have to heal just to do the ancient lightsaber. You can use it with no damage as well.
