Cad Bane can finally get close to Sabine level, with the allowance of hero events. Qira dice are kinda good and kinda bad, however what she does give is the ability to use hero events such as Hyperspace Jump, Rebel, and Easy Pickings. (i'm sure there are some other good ones i can't think of, please feel free to suggest). Qira also allows the use of the cool new battlefield.
The game plan is simple enough. Roll in Qira, and hope she hits a favorable side. But the more fun part is the next turn is roll in Cad Bane with his Action, playing an Ambush weapon, see how the dice land, and if there is a pay side, use the battlefield to gain a resource, spot Qira, and get that additional Ambush to resolve all guns.
