It's called Main Plaza "Fun" but it can be anything but for your opponent!

I've always loved the confusion that Main Plaza - Vashka brings to the table, but I haven't found an effective way to play it...until now!

Use and abuse the battlefield ability with Clone Commander Cody - Loyal Strategist and Finn - Soldier of Necessity. I've added a copy of New Orders just to ensure that you get to use and abuse Main Plaza - Vashka. Play testing has found that depending on the battlefield, Cody's specials might be effective as well even if your battlefield isn't chosen (but hope that it is).

I've added typical battlefield deck cards like Planetary Uprising, but adding in Drop Zone and Outpost has proven surprisingly effective at finishing off characters and disrupting their resources.

So many ways to move damage!

The event package is SO MUCH FUN to play! I'm beginning to adore Inflame. I've had a couple rage quits with Inflame into Defensive Position (I'm telling ya, when it works, it's not fun for your poor opponent.

Revised Order works suprisingly well with finn. And battlefield removal like Hostile Takeover and Superior Position are solid. Top it all off with First Aid for even more survivability, Dug in, and quite possibly the little gem of the deck, Rebel Assault.

It's been really solid thus far as a really strong T2 deck, I don't think it has enough health to deal with the T1 aggro decks, but I'm gonna give it a chance.

Looking for recommendations to really boost this deck. Only meh cards so far have been E-11 Blaster and Supply Pack. I usually leave no resources left for upgrades unfortunately.

Edits so far:

-2 E-11 Blaster -2 Handheld L-S1 Cannon -2 Supply Pack

+2 C-3PO +1 Rebellion Leader +2 Wingman +1 Recon

C-3PO would be a good add to guarantee specials

@yuri Ya, I honestly just overlooked C-3PO. That would have saved me a couple of games, maybe I’ll try it.

I love the concept and delivery of this deck . . . honestly I don't think the weapons are needed at all. You might want to try Wingman just to get a little faster activation and get your dice into the field. Also you could try Rebellion Leader which would allow you to remove dice as well and of course make use of the Focus's on it as well, of course ut's costly so maybe not. C-3PO would also be quite useful in this type of deck as well, especially for making more use of blanks or 1 sided dice for specials. Also Honor Guard and Suppressive Fire could also be useful for mitigation when needed. Another card that could be fun for you is Blaze of Glory, Fall Back, Field Medic, Mend, Hit and Run, Logistics, Mobilize, Recon. Retreat - that's just a few of the cards that could be possibly useful, not sure what you'd want to take out but those are just some of the suggestions that I would consider.

Again, love the deck concept and good luck with it Enjoy!

@StaticCat Thank you. You are absolutely right about the weapons, i've already removed them. I actually started with Wingman and removed it, i may substitute that back in, i could really use some speed boost when i face other fast 2 character decks.

Rebellion Leader is a card i've used a few times with Finn - Soldier of Necessity and i feel like it's best paired with him. there are a few very rare times i have resources sitting around so i think i'll add 1 copy. Of your other suggestions, Recon is looking awful tempting. i've always wanted to use it.

Good idea for a deck. One issue, Drop Zone and planetary don’t work off Cody’s special. His special takes control and uses the claim ability. It doesn’t “claim” the battlefield which is the trigger for both.

@ChaChaTrevor Thanks. Yes I knew that already going into this. I include them anyway because the deck still tends to run fast (especially when Wingman hits the table). Honestly i use my resources exclusively on event cards like 80% of the games. But on rare occassion, having Planetary Uprising or Drop Zone can help me close out a character or the game, so I still keep them in the deck. Maybe a one of on Drop Zone is more appropriate...if Cody's special DID work on those cards, then they would be totally bonkers! Oh well...
