Beckett is schmoozing Talzin to get an inside track on Imperial stockpiles. Mulligan for a Delve + 5 cost support in your opening hand. Even if you don't get it, it's not impossible to reach 5 resources turn one with the battlefield + Beckett's PA + Talzin's die fix. You usually wanna save Talzin for after you roll out your big damage supports though. All odd decklist so you will always get max value from Witch Magick + Spell of Removal.
1) Interesting pairing, but I like it when stuff gets weird. 2) Strong removal sweet. I run most of those in most of my decks... most of the time. 3) So, if round 1 does not yield Delves and free supports/upgrades, wouldn't it be best to limp through round 1 spending resources on removal and opponent die manipulation, then discard hand at end of round to redraw hoping to hit a big support and Delve? 4) 5 5-cost supports and no upgrades with damage under 3-cost would make me feel super uncomfortable....
