(Exclaimer: sorry to my English teacher, I have better things to do than your home work(Example?))Heading up into regionals season I was unsure on what deck to play. Vader Greedo was doing really well and there were a few places taken by Snarkin. I thought Snarkin would struggle without a hand like every deck but man was I wrong.

The most peculiar detail of this deck is only one force speed. just as a clarification I was one of the youngest people there and I was going to go to the tournament with no force speeds or illusions but a guy from my locals let me borrow them. in the end I think that only one Force Speed is the correct choice because I didn't use it for a lot of amazing plays

I only ran one mind trick because I was worried about spot restrictions and it was not very strong against Vader.

Retreat was a recommendation from a guy at my locals so I could use it against non-Vader decks. in the future I would probably remove it because I only used it once all day

If you are not running scout in your Leia Yoda you are going to struggle in the end game with just Yoda. it also helps Leia get closer to the win in the end game

Round 1 Vader Greedo: when I saw Vader Greedo I was relieved because I had . very good win rate against the deck. I dropped a scout on Yoda turn one while he dropped a Meditation Chamber I got a somewhat Slow Start that game but it sped up. He got Vaders Fist turn 2 and saber turn 3 but only managed to kill Leia turn 3 while Yoda had Force Jump, Meditation and Scout. in the last 2 rounds he had4 cards in hand and meditation chamber but he was not rolling damage so he had to pitch to reroll and Scout and Yoda die fixers won me the game. 1-0

Round 2: I faced P0em on eSnoke Bala Ciena vehicles. He got a Hand Cannon turn 21and no dice out turn 2 which set him back a long way. by turn 3 I had Force Jump, Force Speed and Scout on Yoda. I rolled in and gotForce Speed Special, Yoda Special Yoda double focus and a disrupt. he played Umbaran Tank which in response I special chained Yoda into scout with top deck, scout the hand, Speed to Leia the Yoda Focus for 2 more and Then I played retreat which set him back a whole turn. After the he couldn't get the damage to kill Yoda and that was game. 2-0

Round 3 Snoke tarkin: when i saw my opponent on the pairing sheet I silently died inside, this next opponent was without doubt the best player in the room and one probably the meanest deck there. in his first turn He got Focre Speed, Holocron and hand Cannon. I got really lucky and had 2 Force Illusions that game and managed to survive for 4 maybe five rounds of not being able to prevent him from doing less that eight indirect a turn because of hand cannon, but at least I got him down to 2 cards in hand with a chance cube on field at the end. I think that the only cards that would have saved me was dex's diner or Aquata Breather. 2-1

Round 4 Han Qira: this was another odd pairing because it turns out that He was a distant relative. The Details are a bit fuzzy for me but when it comes down to it the game was very simple, he rolled a bunch of damage and i didn't have enough mitigation or he was action cheating. Yoda Died Turn 2 and then he just kept roling damage. 2-2

Lunch break

Round 5 Yoda Leia: walking in this round I got nervous because it meant I probably had a 50 percent chance of progressing into the top 8. He won the roll of and played a chance cube as the starting action to which I dropped a scout and he forgot to use occupied city. After that I knew that he wasn't a very experienced mill player because having speed towards getting the claim is very important in mill mirrors and chance cube is another action to resolve or you are losing out on resources. turn 2 i got meditation and force speed and I was ably to constantly stay ahead on claiming while he played Strike briefing several times which both used a card and an action to strip a card from my deck even though he got to choose the best one and knowing what I would get only let him know how badly he was screwed. The extra card from his hand meant I had more availability to use the Leia Power action on 2 discard when he had only one card in hand.

Round 6 Vader Greedo: He got theed on the roll off but had no upgrades to play but a meditation chamber so he dropped that. I played jump on Yoda and he power actioned theed to gain a resource and I activated Yoda into Yoda special and some bad sides on Jump and the other Yoda dice. he rolled in Vader and got a 1 and a shield side. 2 damage hardly contributes to his damage plan so i decided to let him either resolve it or reroll for better sides by activating Leia into a 2 discard. he lacked a poker face and played price of failure on an ready Greedo and hit the 2 indirect which wasn't more that annoying with that I discarded 2 cards from his hand and got the other price and i thing bait and switch. he resolved is dice and I decided to take my time to threaten claiming so I could get Force jump in the pool before Vader to he claimed early after resolving the resource sides he rolls after rerolling and getting damage blanked. the rest of the details escape me but he killed Yoda turn 3 and I put scout on a Leia with 2 damage on her. he hardly used his meditation chamber that game because he needed to get vader in the pool before yoda so that probably lost his 3 cards which mattered a lot in the end because he got back his only ancient which in the last turn came down to meditation chamber not saying may for the draw so he drew a card and I pitched it with scout and then he ancient healed and I Leia power actioned for the win.

Round 7 Jyn2 Anakin2 Yoda: was against a mill player I ended up talking to just before this round so I had some clue to how his deck worked. with his 3 character dice to my 4 and taking ground i easily won the roll off and stuck with mine. he got his only C3-PO round one while I got scout and took on in a heavy lead. turn 2 i got out double force meditation and even though he got a Ani's Podracer he didn't have the speed towards the mill win that set him very far behind

They announced the top 8 and match ups so I was glad to face Vader Greedo(I regretted that) We started on my battlefield so I played force speed on yoda and he rolled into a 3 and a 4. I beguiled so one was gone and the other was blanked and he vadered it back in as a 3 so I rolled Yoda in to see who he would burn down and much to my pleasure he went after Leia which meant I could use my spot cards later on and stack up Yoda. at the end of the first turn he played nexus of power before I could discard it with Leia which confused my. I finished his hand and the claimed so I had some grace time to play Dex's Diner. the next turn He played Vader Saber so I activated Yoda an got triple specials but then he played partnership and threw 5 damage into Leia but couldn't bring a Vader die back in due to resource choke I threw down a Force Illusion on Leia and he rerolled into a 4 which I blanked and he didn't get any more damage through that turn While i got out a suppressive fire and bunch of mill and discard with a scout of Yoda that would prove to be very useful. on his next turn he partnershipped and got lethal on Leia which was frustrating. but I slapped on a meditation on Yoda and was able to finish of his deck and saw that he ran alter player which game my insight into how to prepare for his attack on the game.1-0 he played on theed so He started with theeding while I dropped a jump on suppressive fire. he rolled vader in for shields and resources which didn't scare me so I dropped a jump to which he took resources. I counteres by hit and running Leia into a whiff so I rolled in yoda. he threw the fist at me I didn't get to discard so i ate a bunch of damage after hidden motive calling Inderect into eating 3 on Yoda from his free ranged roll. with mill that turn I stripped one of his partnerships which relieved me.that next turn he partnershipped to nearly kill yoda to I instantly threw on the force illusin in hand which and a 4 after he pitched to reroll but he god rolled with fist and Yoda was whittled down after a few turns. going into the final game we had completed 2 games in 25 minutes so the rest of the matches knew that we were going at a fast rate. I opened with scout On Yoda and he player Nexus of power and a force speed but I had Suppressive fire I rolled in yoda for threats if he had partnership so he activated into double 2 melee so I suppressive fired one and confidenced the other because, as I have said before, taking 2 damage from vader is of minor significance.I ate his hand and got a nice chunk off his deck including a partnership. the next turn he played vader saber and i Hit and Run Commando raided him for his hand except for one which he used to reroll after getting a pretty bad roll in while I threw a jump on Yoda. he got a good amount of damage but paify saved me a bit but I still ate 6 on yoda so I threw on a illusion and the other suppressive fire. the next turn he rolled in vader as his first action into 2 shields on vader saber andvader and a blank of vader. I had Sensor Placement in hand so I stole his Vader Shields and removed the blank with suppressive fire giving yoda 2 shields but he resolved vader saber and got a 4 I couldn't mitigate to I ate it on the illusion and Greedo rolled into lethal that I couldn't stop so I put a scout on Leia and for used it to keep up my game. hext turn he rolled crap to I hit and runned into 2 from his hand. he rerolled into 3 on saber and 3 on vader so I jammed on a force illusion. he resolved the vader 3 so I illusioned it and scouted his hand and snagged his price of failure. he rolled in nexus of power and turned it into a 0 melee so I hidden motived melee of vader saber and struck it out. the next turn he had only 4 cards in hand so he rolled in vader into scary damage that I beguiled and set him with no damage showing forcing him to reroll where he only hit 2 damage out of the 4 he needed to win I hit and ran and hit 2 Leia discard and a scout special so naturally I hit his hand for 2. he rolled greedo into a blank so I hidden motived the vader 2 for melee and then I was out of removal. he rerolled and hit only 2 on vader to I finished his hand and took the win and a really long break because there was 45 minutes left in the top 8.

Top 4 Snoke Tarkin: I'm not going to talk about this much because there isn't much to be said. he played a bunch of terrifying upgrades and I ended up taking 7-11 damage every turn.

And that's a wrap. met with a bunch of people I'd love to run into at more tournaments. learned a bunch about how to play and how to counter Snarkin which is the deck to beat now. the Snoke Tarkin player was the only Snoke Tarkin player at the tournament and only lost one game all day because his opponent god rolled the hell out of his and got ridiculous Dryden Vos pulls.
