No Mercy Kylo w/guide 1.0

So now that mono seems to be back, why not bring Kylo :D

I played Kylo a lot during the WotF meta and he's definitely one of my favorite characters. Snoke was a good pairing, but with the point increase, Jabba and Pryce were both good options. As soon as no mercy was reprinted, I knew I was gonna play with it. I figured Jabba was a better pairing as he allows to play with yellow cards that don't really impact the no mercy play. It allows to still be able to play removals after you discard your hand.

Card choices:

Upgrades

-Crossguard Lightsaber and Treasured Lightsaber are good turn one drops

-Dagger of Mortis and Heirloom Lightsaber are played if you can roll a resource on Jabba and also have redeploy

-Force Wave is perfect against mill and 3 wide

Downgrades

-Mind Extraction Palp and Padmé counter. Could replace one of the Secrets Laid Bare if they are too common

-Secrets Laid Bare helps get the best value out of Kylo calls. I could see dropping this card to one

Supports

-It Binds All Things because all our upgrades are blue

Events

14 removal cards, 6 of which can be used with Jabba.

The 2 Forsaken might look like an odd pick, but with all the decks that activate with one die at a time, it's really useful. I can also play with my dice to make it work.

-No Mercy is the big damage card of the deck. Building around this card is like Talzin, there can only be a limited number of certain cards in the deck.

Battlefield

Salt Flats - Crait allows Jabba to get a resource, or to possibly get 3. It is also decent mitigation.

The deck can easily beat Phasma deck (despite missing calls) and can hold its ground against vehicles. I will test against palp soon, but I don't think it will be that challenging. I don't know how it will play out against Padmé, but I can place the indirect on Jabba and hope to stack Kylo with upgrades. If I can no mercy early, the game should be pretty easy.

EDIT: Possible replacement of the battlefield for Mean Streets - Correlia. With this change, I will also test more expensive cards such as First Claim, Lack of Faith, and maybe one In The Crosshairs. I will still keep the deck at around 6 yellows. I am currently testing with -2 Secrets Laid Bare, +1 First Claim, +1 Lack of Faith.
