Here's something I haven't seen done yet, and so far has proven to be a really fun way to play Captain Phasma - Stormtrooper Commander.
The biggest issue with Phasma, IMO is her 12 health for 21 points. Compared to Vader's 15, this makes her less playable as a giant 21-cost character. However, if we can double down on Riot Shield and load her up enough to fully utilize Bacta Therapy, things can really get rolling with her.
The hardest question is whether or not this is better than playing her with Advanced Training and First Order Stormtrooper. The big con, of course, is that we don't get the awesome additional damage sides from AT and Greedo, poor little guy, isn't a trooper at all. The plus, though—besides being able to Double Down on Riot Shield—is that we get access to Darksaber, Dangerous Maneuver, and most importantly: Vandalize.
Vandalize is just nasty with Phasma and Megablaster Troopers because they roll all character dice (6 total) and so you can eliminate your opponent's most dangerous supports and upgrades.
Lots of 0-cost events here let us focus on spending money to ramp up her upgrades and healing cards. Thinking about playing Déjà Vu, but it seems a little slow for how little health the deck has.
