just a quick reminder that the Nightsister Zombie are not consider ''defeated'' when they die,so Vow Of Vengeance doesnt work.

OwO 80

Acceptable Losses: "Defeat up to 3 of your characters to gain that many of your resources".

The only time the Zombies are not considered defeated is when Daka dies and you have to remove them. If they die due to acceptable losses, Karabast, or Draw Attention, they are considered defeated and work with Vow of Vengeance.

@ tearlesskingpy If they are defeated, it'll count to [Vow Of Vengeance] (/ card / 08053). It's not the same to set aside though

the BEAST 1128

Inflict Pain might be worth a look.

YESSSSSSSSSS! Been looking at how to use Q'ira with the new set and I happen to have eDaka and 6 zombies at my disposal. Fun!

Unless you are playing this deck against a player who doesn't like mitigation for some reason, I can't see how you expect to resolve that lone Qi'Ra die, which as far as I can see is your only way of doing damage except Daka's little dice (I know you have 2 Scruffy Looking Nerf-Herders, but I don't think that's enough). Even if the die doesn't get mitigated, you can only kill 1 character a round, which means support or Ewok decks will still keep running into round 5+.

I love the idea of Vow Of Vengeance with Zombies, but I'd play Jango Fett over Qi'Ra. More base sides, plus you get to play him elite. And I'd put in a few upgrades for some extra damage. I know you lose Karabast! and Draw Attention, but if you're drawing your deck with Common Cause, Acceptable Losses should be enough I think.

@rogue6548Thanks for the insight, but you may be misunderstanding how the deck is supposed to work. Qi'Ra's die doesn't mean anything. It's a resource generator, at best. Daka's die are the big damage sides.

The idea is to acceptable losses 6 of your zombie, play Scruffy twice (or 3 times with Deja vu) to call events and remove their mitigation, play 3 vow of vengeance, roll out Daka and turn them to indirect sides with Alter, resolving them for 40 indirect damage.

Common cause is used to draw your deck, and the mitigation and damage moving is to keep Daka alive until turn 3. The Jango version seems good as well.

@OwO thanks for the response. I was completely up to speed with how the deck worked (having played against a version of this deck a few weeks ago) except I hadn't thought you would play Vow Of Vengeance on Daka (which is why I suggested playing Jango over Qi'Ra). That makes a lot more sense. Risky play putting all your eggs in the 9HP Daka basket (even given the large number of move damage cards you're running, which obviously you'd lose with Jango), but it's certainly a better plan than playing it on Qi'Ra.

As you say, one way or the other against most decks, the game will be over by round 3.

P.S. Love the idea of Zombies having Kinship :)
