This deck is UNTESTED. Beware.

The idea of this deck is to control your opponents hand so they have fewer options than you do. It tries to speed the game along by making them draw more cards and hopefully deck themselves.

The deck may need more die control in Command or Rogue and fewer dice, but this is what I came up with.

Characters

Admiral Ackbar

The crux of the deck idea. This card just adds another decision point to your opponent discarding to reroll. Conveniently he also provides a discard symbol to speed that along. He also provides resources so you can speed out your upgrades.

Padme Amidala

Padme does several things for us. She gives us access to heavy discard (three faces), she gives us the opportunity to set our other dice quite well, and finally as a bonus she gives us a resource icon (used for our expensive supports later).

She also gives access to Rogue cards which is pretty big in this deck.

Upgrades

Cunning

A toolbox card. It's relatively easy to play at two resources and gives us an additional focus and discard face. It's special is also great in that we can trigger Padme Amidala or even opponents cards.

Datapad

Ramp and dice control. We want to be discarding cards and Datapad can help with that.

Diplomatic Immunity

This card keeps our characters alive. At two characters with low health our team is a bit mushy. Between the dice control and this we want to keep our characters as shielded up as possible.

Scout

An easy-to-play upgrade that gives us discard and focus symbols. This one is definitely fodder for upgrade replacement.

Survival Gear

Another toolbox card like Cunning. This one... Lets us survive. It also gives us light ramp and focus, which is always helpful. Also, it's easy to play at a cost of two so it's a good candidate for replacement.

Supports

Launch Bay

A very expensive toolbox. This is one that is a candidate for removal.

Millenium Falcon

This is just good. All it's faces are powerful and it can discard like nobody's business. One thing to note: there is no blanks. This is our end-game if we need it and what we ramp towards.

Outpost

Provides disruption if we need it. Also grants shields to keep Admiral Ackbar and Padme Amidala alive. Key, though, is it's ability to use the battlefield (Command Center) if we can. This is essentially a 2 for us with our battlefield.

Events

Defensive Position

Mass die removal. This will hopefully keep our characters alive longer.

Electroshock

Covers what Defensive Position cannot. A good target for this one is a special.

Addtionally, we have to be careful with this guy. It requires Padme Amidala to be alive.

Field Medic

Keeps our characters alive.

Hyperspace Jump

Use in case of emergency. If our opponent is showing loads of damage.. Just end the round. This can also be recurred with the Millenium Falcon.

Let The Wookie Win

This is some weak die removal. I hope to change this to something else. The issue is not the card itself but the deck that it's in. There is very little damage here and our opponent will almost always choose two damage over two dice.

Logistics

Some ramp for the Millenium Falcon and Launch Bay.

Natural Talent

General utility. Hopefully we can discard cards faster with this guy.

Reversal

Damage removal. Recurrable with the Millenium Falcon.

Scramble

Die control. This is sort of a "last ditch" card.

i recommend 2 All In because if you can set up a big pool of dice then all in and resolve them all without your opponent having an opportunity to disrupt the turn. Cap that all off with the final die you resolve being a cunning or falcon special to hyperspace jump to the next round before your opponent gets to really have a turn its all the better.

i love reversal it saves you so much damage being recurred with the falcon.
