There has been a couple decks like this coming out winning tournaments recently and this is my take on it it's a little bit different. The deck has a similar play style as the rest control but a lot of damage. So this is how my E Bala-TikJango Fett First Order Stormtrooper deck faced and did. Please leave any comments and I will try to answer.
Game 1 I was going up vs a E Kylo Ren and a E Count Dooku Win
I started with a Holdout Blaster which is my favorite start card I put it on Jango and roll Bala-Tik and the game snowballed he didn't really get his deck going and i ended up taking around 3-4 damage.
Game 2 Win
This was a mirror game( Vs my brother who was in this tournament) with the exceptions of a few cards, same battlefield i won the start roll i got 2 shields and the game started and again i started with holdout blaster and he got a dh 17 pistol. I rolled better and draw better weapon and this game was unlucky for him.
Game 3 Win Was vs E General Grievous and Count Dooku Win
This game was pretty tuff I mulligan my whole hand and didn't get a 2 cost weapon for 2 rounds but cannon fodder and best defense directed some damage to my storm trooper and i saved him with 2 hunker downs and when he was killed i Managed to get down grevious before duuko was totally loaded with stuffs.
Game 4 Win Again I went up vs E Kylo Ren vs E Count Dooku
Third game i get Holdout Blaster at start which was great and this game became pretty tuff My trooper died then i got his kylo but he slaughtered my Jango fett but he was full with redeploy and Bala-Tik managed to beat Duoko in the end.
Semi-Final I got my brother in Semi Final again so mirror match for us again.
Game 1 Win I won the initiative again and got the 2 shields and of course I started with the Holdout again the game was played in high speed and He went for Jango i for Bala-Tik and i got Bala first got reset and Won the game.
Game 2 Win Same here got initiative got a Jet pack and it was little bit of the same and i went for bala and he for Jango and about the same result. But i did only survive with like 3 HP so it was closer.
Final Game I got the same guy as I played in the 4 swish round E-Kylo Ren ren E Count Dooku.
Game 1 Lose
I got so destroyed this game I think i got my first 2 cost upgrade in round 3 then he had 5 upgrades across the board and that was not even a match I did 6 damage and 3 of them was from Backup Muscle.
Game 2 Win
Almost the same but the other way i rolled 6 damage first round and it was just a tuff start to recover from.
Game 3 Win
Really close game actually I got off to a good start I got down Kylo Ren about the same time he got my storm trooper. But He No Mercy my Bala tik for around 6 damage and killed him soon after at this time douko was down to 2 Hp. I claimed the objective and draw Armed to the Teeth and won the game.
